In early 2015, SCML was granted as exclusive operator for retail-based fixed odds sports betting.

A powerful partnership

In collaboration with SCML, we successfully integrated the existing infrastructure with our Advanced Betting Platform to provide fixed odds betting in their 5,000 retail outlets. As part of this process, we worked closely with our partner to build their offer, fully understand the requirements of the new legislation and guarantee complete compliance.

Using the Managed Betting Services that we build with the Portuguese lottery, we developed a solution drawing on the services and experience of FDJ’s trading team.

Significant growth potential

Since launching the ‘Placard’ brand in existing lottery retail outlets in September 2015, SCML has managed to create a new and fast growing vertical with sales of ca. 500 M€ (out of 11M global population) in a responsible way (identified players in retail)
